Gluten Free Sweet Pizza


  • 1 1/2 cups Healthier Way Sweet Potato Flour plus extra for dusting
  • 1 1/2 cups corn starch
  • 2 teaspoons xanthan gum
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 oz of fast acting (easy bake) yeast
  • 1 teaspoon gluten free baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup hand warm water


  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF/ 180°C.
  2. Place all the ingredient in a bowl and combine to form a dough, alternatively put the ingredients in a food processor. Put dough onto a flour dusted surface and knead for 3 minutes until smooth. If the dough is sticky add some extra sweet potato flour until it is smooth.
  3. Lightly oil a medium pizza baking tray, put the dough in the middle and spread out using your hands to the edge of the tray.
  4. Put the pizza dough in the oven and pre-bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Take out of the oven, top with your favourite ingredients and cook for a further 15 minutes.
  6. Cut into 8 slices and serve imediately.
